EPISODE 19 - STEWART & REVELSTOKE, BRITISH COLUMBIA

Kristen takes us to two remote parts of Canada's British Columbia. Stewart is on the Pacific Ocean across the inlet from Hyder, Alaska just a 1km drive away. This is where people go to reeealy get away from it all. In the summertime it is the end-of-the-line desitination for motorhome cruisers. Although it is on the coast it is one of the most glaciated parts of British Columbia. We tour this mining town and then explore the helicopter skiing potential of this great mountanous region.

Next we go to Revelstoke to experience a new form of winter recreation. Snowmobile skiing is when you combine snowmobiles with skis and snowboards to access terrain that is usually only available to heli-skiers. At a fraction of the price these snowmobile skiers are getting the goods.
